I FEEL LUCKY THIS YEAR

2009 is going to be a great year for the Buckeyes!  I can feel it already.  My evidence?  Good Ol' TBDBITL John drew a "Script Ohio" spot in the upcoming TBDBITL reunion game against Navy.  That's two years in a row which seldom happens. 

Let me explain.  Due to the high number of former band members returning to Columbus for "one more time" down the ramp into the great Shoe, usually you have to alternate Script spots every other year.  Alternates still get to march the traditional ramp entrance and all the other goodies, just not the incomparable Script Ohio. 

So you can see why I'm feeling pretty lucky this year.  So lucky, I'm taking this as a sign that during the 2009 season we will: 

1. See the offensive line jell under the leadership of nasty Justin Boren
2. Watch Terrelle Pryor mature and complete a "Holy Buckeye!" game winner 
3. Reverse fortunes on U$C and win a big non-conference game
4. Cheer Duron Carter as he makes an immediate impact on the offense
5. Roll undefeated into State College and play as well as PSU did in Columbus last year
6. Marvel as Boom Herron makes us begin to forget about Beanie Wells
7. Find our defensive backfield before opposing quarterbacks do
8. Get Tyler Moeller back
9. Beat _ichigan yet again this year in perhaps RRod's last home game
10. And finally, finally, get the SEC monkey off our back with a stirring double-overtime victory over the Florida Gators in the BCS championship game!

Too much to ask, you say?  Not if you're feeling lucky!
