Now that we're at the halfway point in the season, let's look forward at the final 6 games and see where OSU stands in its quest for a Big Ten Championship.

Purdue 10/11: Joe Tiller's farewell tour as coach of the Boilermakers will continue its misery as they go to Columbus in hopes to snap its current 15 game losing streak to a ranked opponent. With QB Curtis Painter being benched against PSU this past Saturday, will he be able to regain his form and upset the Bucks at home? I don't see that happening.

@ Michigan State 10/18: Mark Dantonio's Spartans have improved greatly in his second year as Head Coach. RB Javon Ringer has been carrying much of the load and this has all of the makings of a signature win for Sparty.

Penn State 10/25:  If everything goes to plan, this will decide the Big Ten Championship. Perhaps the student section can do a "red out" for this prime time match up. It has all of the makings of an instant classic. Maybe JoePa won't get sick this time.

@ Northwestern 11/8:  Coach Pat Fitzgerald has the Wildcats undefeated at this point, but I see the "purple kitties" losing some of their bite when OSU rolls into Evanston.

@ Illinois 11/15: Revenge time. OSU has had 12 months to think about the humiliating loss handed to them by the Illini. QB Juice Williams single handedly engineered a drive that kept our defense out there for nearly the whole quarter. Maybe it will be TP this time around that keeps a drive going that will deflate Ron Zook and leave Champaign with a "W".

Michigan 11/22: THE GAME. Jim Tressel will attempt to go 7-1 against That School Up North and hand Rich Rod his first loss in the series. The Michigan fans will wish they had Lllllloyd Carr patrolling the sidelines because this should be downright brutal.

Hopefully, this will turn out to be a great stretch run and not a nightmare. 11-1 and a Rose Bowl trip sound good to me.

GO BUCKS!!!
