Saturday's game with Purdue proved that you can come back from adversity. Ohio State did just that by shutting out the Boilermakers 49-0. The 415 yards of offense in the first half was the most yards by a Buckeye team since 1998.

Terrelle Pryor might have lost the chance to hoist the Heisman Trophy, but he still is an athletic freak who can throw when you need him to throw and can run when he needs to run. Pryor surpassed Troy Smith for 3rd place on the all-time list for total offense by an OSU player.

Boom Herron has been great since seizing control as the starter at RB. I think it won't be long until he has his first 100 yard rushing game. His career best was 97 yards last year against Iowa.

I personally thought that OSU would mope around after Wisky punched them in the mouth, but the Buckeyes evidently had a great week of practice and got revenge from last year's debacle against Purdue. Despite Ryan Kerrigan having one sack, Purdue didn't show up hence the 118 yards of total offense.

Now that Tim Brewster has been fired at Minnesota, the Golden Gophers are riding out the string and their fans are actually waiting for College Basketball to start. Speaking of CBB, OSU is #5 in the initial Coaches Poll.

This game will get real ugly, real fast. I expect the starters to rest by the middle of the 3rd quarter and hope that OSU can stay injury free. Every week, they have at least one serious injury in the defensive backfield.

Iowa, if you're listening, please beat Sparty this week so that OSU can keep hope alive for a sixth consecutive Big Ten Championship. Ever since Coach "D" had his heart attack, the Spartans have been on a mission. They were lucky as heck as the "Purple Kitties" let them off of the hook after being up 17-0. 5 weeks remain so anything can happen at this point. OSU has plenty to play for.

Prediction: OSU 45 Minnesota 6

GO BUCKS!!!
