For the first time since 1954 and 1955, The Ohio State University Buckeyes have won consecutive outright Big 10 Titles and will most likely play in the Rose Bowl in Pasadena on New Year's Day. The Sweater Vest, once again, got the better of Lllllloyd Carr. It was Tressel's 6th win in 7 years over the Maize and Blue.

There are plenty of compliments to throw around. Thanks to Greg Jones for handling one of the 10x10 boards, thanks to John Crossmock and Paul Malanga for handling the raffle, Cecil Moore and the cleanup crew, Chris Hughes for cooking the meat (more on his afternoon in a while) and most important, Jeff Reeb for coordinating the entire event.

Because of your generosity, $672 was raised for the scholarship fund. Plus an additional $90 for the kids at Westside Elementary. There were a lot of wonderful prizes that were won by a lot of fans. One person that I know, Chris Hughes, walked away with a lot of prizes. He must've felt like he was on The Price is Right. Chris won an autograph Maurice Hall autograph football, Jim Tressel autograph football, Chris Spielman autograph mini-helmet and countless other prizes. Congrats to Chris and others who walked away with some fantastic stuff.

I guess Chris "Beanie "Wells wanted it more. He was simply money today. He rushed for a career high 222 yards on 39 carries and 2 TD's. Vernon Gholston was a beast. He had 3 sacks (including 2 on All-American to be Jake Long).

Carr is the first coach to have a 1-6 record in a 7 year span.

"Beanie" Wells' 222 yards is the most by an OSU RB against TSUN.

This is the 3rd time ever that OSU has 4 straight against TSUN. The other occasions were in 1934-1937 with Francis Schmidt (all by shutout) and 1960-1963 with Woody Hayes.

TSUN had a horrific 91 yards of total offense. Amazing!!

The heralded class of Chad Henne, Mike Hart and Jake Long finish their career at TSUN by going 0-4 against OSU.

Todd Boeckman threw just 2 passes in the second half (one in the 3rd and one in the 4th quarter).

OSU held TSUN out of the end zone in the "Big House" for the first time since 1981. OSU won that game 14-9.

Luckybuck's Helmet Sticker Player(s) of the Game: "Beanie" Wells and the entire "D".

On tap: OSU vs. ??? in the 2008 Rose Bowl. I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving and Merry Christmas. Unless 4 other teams fall in the next 3 weeks, OSU will settle for "The Granddaddy of them all".

GO BUCKS!!!
