The Ohio State Alumni Club/Memphis attempted to hold a meeting on 9/26/09 however there were not enough voting members present to conduct official business.  Those present were: Cecil Moore, Jeff Reeb, Carolyn Able and Bill Eggert.

President Cecil Moore made a couple of "executive" decisions in the best interest of the Club.

The first order of t-shirts are in and the cost, with setup, was $15 each.  President Moore determined we will sell the shirts for $22 each.  The cost will go down with the next order.  100% of the t-shirt proceeds will go to the Endowment Fund.  It was determined that three individuals will receive a t-shirt with the compliments and appreciation from the Club: Archie Griffin, Kathy Bickel and Carolyn Able for seeing this project through to completion.

It was decided to not use the t-shirts as an incentive during the membership drive.  It was decided to raffle off a basketball to one of the members who join by 10/31/09.

Obtaining a "kickback" from Dan McGuinness was discussed.

An email should be sent to Nelson Taylor of the Grizzlies about getting Mike Conley involved, especially when we go to Westside Elementary to conclude the School Supplies Project.  (This was done on 10/23/09 without response).

We should hire an attorney and trademark our logo.  We should also talk to an attorney about sales tax law.

Jeff Reeb gave the Treasurer's Report.

Cecil Moore suggested a Christmas Angel Tree for the Website.

As for St. Jude Marathon Volunteers.  Look into manning the telephones for the WKNO Auctions.

President Moore decided to get two tables at the Shelby County College Fair.

Operation Buckeye: a minimum $400 donation, shoot for $500.
